Scott "Scooter" Smith 51, of Rocky Hill and formerly of Enfield whose earthly journey ended peacefully on Monday February 23, 2009. He was born on April 3, 1957 in Springfield, MA, beloved son of Channing and Helen (Carnine) Smith of Arizona. Scott had resided in Enfield most of his life. He was employed for many years with Pizza Palace in Enfield. Scott enjoyed a good game of chess and playing board games, he also gave generously of his time volunteering at the Enfield Loaves and Fishes. Scott leaves many fond memories for his family to cherish, besides his parents he is survived by two loving daughters; Tracie and Korie Smith of New Hampshire, a sister; Brenda Mayhew and her husband, Michael of Enfield , a brother; Roger Smith and his wife, Debbie of Brewster, MA, his nephews; Jason, Nathan and Ryan and his niece; Kerri. He also leaves his close friend and companion; Dee Maiolo of Rocky Hill and his friends; Kevin Lovett and Tom Rzasa. Scott was predeceased by his wife, Veronica (Alaimo) Smith. His family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday February 28, 2009 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd.
