Sister Mary Alice Fodrowski, 95 died on Friday June 6, 2008 at Holy Family Infirmary, in her 74th year of religious life in the Felician Sister's Congregation. <br>The former Agnes Fodrowski was born in Bondsville, MA on January 21, 1913 and was one of ten children to the late Michael and Mary (Pisarczyk) Fodrowski. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, Easthampton, MA and graduated from Immaculate Conception High School Lodi, NJ before entering the Felician Sisters in Lodi on May 12, 1934. She professed perpetual vows on August 6, 1942. Her educational background included a B.S. from Rivier College in Education. <br>For 65 years, Sister Alice was in active ministry, working as a primary teacher for most of her life in elementary schools staffed by the Felician Sisters in NJ, CT, NY, MA and NH. She was also a special education teacher in Bronx, NY for 15 years and taught English as a second language in Hartford, CT. She served as local minister in Adams, MA, Bronx, NY, and Hempstead, NY. <br>Survivors include two brothers; John of Stone Ridge, NY and Edward of New Windsor, NY and four sisters; Viola Kaliniak of New Windsor, NY, Sophie Molinski of East Patchogue, NY, Stella Laczynski of New Hyde Park, NY and Theresa Grant of Ridge, NY. She was predeceased by her siblings, Genevieve, Joseph and Carl. <br>Family and friends will be received beginning at 2p.m. on Monday June 9, 2008 at Our Lady of the Angels Provincial House 1315 Enfield Street Enfield. Wake service at 4:30 followed by Evening Praise. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Commendation will follow in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Felician Sister's Retirement Fund would be greatly appreciated. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield has been entrusted with her arrangements. <br>
