SISTER MARY SYLVINE KOTLARCZYK

Sister was a member of the Felician Sisters for 54 years. She was the sister of Sister Mary Hyacinth Kotlarczyk (Felician Sister)
Sister Mary Sylvine died in the Infirmary of the Felician Sisters, Enfield, CT. Born in Lowell, MA , she was one of five children of the late Andrew and Honorata (Szpindor) Kotlarczyk. As a member of Holy Trinity Parish, Lowell, MA she attended the parish grammar school and graduated from Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Enfield, CT.
In July 1951 she was accepted as a postulant into the Felician Congregation in Enfield. In 1959 she professed final vows. Sister Mary Sylvine received a BS in Education from Catholic Teachers' College, Providence, RI and served as a teacher and catechist in many schools staffed by Felician Sisters in the Middle Atlantic and New England states. Her last assignment was at St. Bernard School, Enfield.
Sister is survived by her sisters Sister Mary Hyacinth Kotiarczyk of the Felician Sisters, Enfield and Mrs. Stephanie Sowinski of Lynn, MA and several nieces and a nephew.
She was predeceased by her brother Frank Kotlarczyk and her sister Mary Stasiowski,
Calling Hours at Our Lady of the Angels Convent, 1315 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT will take place on Wednesday February 1, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Transportation of Sister's body to the Convent Chapel will take place at 4:30 p.m., followed by Evening Prayer.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday February 2, at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, Enfield, CT,
