Sr. Mary Cecilia Janiec, 99, a member of the Felician Sister Community for 80 years, entered into eternal life on Friday April 24, 2015 in Our Lady of the Angels Care Center in Enfield. She was born on March 10, 1916 in Hartford, CT, formerly Salome Janiec, daughter of the late Lawrence and Frances Janiec. She was predecease by her siblings; Stanley, Josephine, Mary & Sophie Janiec and Veronica Novotasky. A wake for Sr. Cecilia will be held on Sunday April 26, 2015 from 1 to 6 p.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Convent 1315 Enfield St. Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the convent chapel. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Enfield.
