Sr. Mary Jeanette Piorkowski, passed into eternal life at the age of 96, on Saturday January 11, 2014 at Holy Family Care Center. Sr. Jeanette was 73 years with the Felician Sisters in religious life. She was born on April 5, 1917 in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Mydlowski) Piorkowski. She was a teacher for many years for the Felician Sister’s Calling hours for Sr. Jeanette will be held on Tuesday Jan. 14, 2014 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Felician Sister’s Convent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel 1315 Enfield St. Enfield,CT. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery in Enfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Felician Sisters Retirement Fund 1315 Enfield St. Enfield, CT 06082.
