Steven Horvath, Jr., 45, of Enfield, beloved husband of 12 years to Deborah (Sidway) Horvath, passed from this life on Friday Feb. 22, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. He was born on June 17, 1962 in Manhattan, NY, NY son of the late Steven, Sr. and Christine (Gajdosik) Horvath and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Steven was a graduate of Enrico Fermi High School Class of 1980. He served his country honorably with the U.S. Marine Corps. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, his computer, being with family and friends, animals especially his beloved his dog "Brian", but mostly he loved life and lived it to the fullest. Steven was employed with ATP Industries, Stratford for the past 7 years. Besides his beloved wife, Deborah he is survived by a stepson, Justin Sidway of Enfield, his two sisters, Debra Horvath of Windsor and Linda Plummer and her husband, Richard of Enfield, his niece, Samantha Plummer. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Betty Mathewson of Enfield and a sister-in-law, Jean Ciollaro of Chicopee, MA and two nephews, Christopher and Stephen Ciollaro along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services in celebration of Steven's life will be held on Wednesday Feb. 27, 2008 at 11:30am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, burial will follow with military honors in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. His family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday Feb. 26, from 4 to 8pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center Foundation / ICU 114 Woodland St. Hartford, CT 06105-9985.
