Suzanne Morano

Suzanne (Lavoie) Morano, 74, of Enfield, entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in the comfort of her home, with loved ones at her side. She was the beloved wife of 51 years to Thomas A. Morano and daughter of the late Dominique and Beatrice (Lanctot) Lavoie. Suzanne was born on February 8, 1945 in Worcester, MA and had moved to Enfield at 5 years old where she resided most of her life. She attended Enfield Schools, a graduate of Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Enfield and Willimantic State College. Suzanne retired after 25 years in the Auto Industry having been employed by Carl Chevrolet and Carter Chevrolet. In her leisure time she loved doing crafts having made shoe boxes for children. In addition to her husband Tom, she is also survived by a son Jason Morano & wife Anne of Enfield and daughter Kirsten Morano & Joel Irizarry of Enfield, her two beloved grandchildren Jacob D. Morano and Cecilia A. Morano, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:00 am in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL. Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
