Theresa Carmela (Quirion) Loubier, 86, beloved wife of the late John P. Loubier, died peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Waterville, Maine on May 29, 1925, Theresa was the daughter of the late Osias and Alma (Rodrigue) Quirion. She has been a resident of Enfield for over fifty years. She was very fond of flowers and enjoyed tending to her garden. Theresa is survived by her loving children, Paula and Charles Horenstein of East Longmeadow, MA, Gregory and Erlinda Loubier of Jacksonville, FL, and Kevin Loubier of Prior Lake, MN; five grandchildren, Ryan, Stephanie, Jocelyn, Andrew, Dennis; eight great grandchildren, Andrew, Jr., Dennis, Jr., Devin, Nolan, Jay, Ava, Emmalyn and Natividad; her siblings, Yoland Hale of Rockville, Joseph Quirion of Winslow, ME, Cecile Bard of South Windsor and Estelle Gaulin of South Windsor; and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her sisters, Delores Pelletier and Palmyre Frost. Family and friends may attend a Memorial Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Avenue, Enfield, CT 06082. Interment will be held at Hazardville Cemetery. At the request of the family there are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
