Theresa Plourde

Theresa A. (Gamache) Plourde, 80, passed away peacefully at Mercy Medical Center, Springfield, MA on Monday March 21, 2016. Theresa was born in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, CT on July 23, 1935, daughter of the late Alfred J. Sr. and Florida (Cote) Gamache. She leaves two daughters; Carolyn Berthiaume (Richard) and Theresa Swanick (Michael) both of MA, two granddaughters; Kimberly Villegas (Ariel) and Diane Berthiaume & fiancé Sean Dowd both of MA, two great grandsons; Caleb and Liam Villegas. Theresa also leaves a brother Alfred J. Gamache, Jr and a sister Rita M. Neal both of Enfield, CT, along with three nephews; Robert A. Neal (Terri), Richard F. Neal (Laurie) and Randy L. Neal & fiancée Kelly Grandis and many cousins. She was very artistic, and enjoyed tatting, painting, drawing and creating greeting cards. Her family will receive relatives and friends during calling hours on Thursday March 24, 2016 from 9:30 to 11:30 am followed by a Memorial Service with Fr. Ed O’Brien officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield, CT. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Theresa’s memory may be made to the Enfield Senior Center 299 Elm Street Enfield, CT 06082.
