Walter "Butch" Fagan Obituary

Walter “Butch” R. Fagan, Jr., 76, of Enfield, died peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Parkway Pavilion in Enfield. Born in East Hartford on May 25, 1937, Butch was the son of the late Walter and Helen (Dillen) Fagan. A longtime resident of Manchester, Butch has resided in Enfield for the last twenty-five years. He was employed with Pratt and Whitney for thirty-seven years and retired in 1992. He was a volunteer fireman with the Manchester Fire Department, and an avid bowler, and a Boston Red Sox fan. Butch is survived by his beloved wife of forty-four years, Patricia “Pat” (Gebo) Fagan; his sister, Cathi Gallup and her husband, Doug of Florida; his brother, Noel Fagan and his wife, Cindy of Connecticut; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis and Lonnie Gebo of Enfield, CT; his nephew, Shawn Gallup; his nieces, Beth Hyman and Arlene Gebo; and his very special grandniece, Jaosha Gebo who was the “apple of his eye”. Butch was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Fagan. Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
