Obituary
Wanda (Panek) Jarvis, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Friday (October 5, 2012) at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Ctr., Hartford. Wanda was the beloved wife of Lloyd A. Jarvis with whom she would have celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage on Thursday October 11, 2012. She was born on December 20, 1931 in Enfield, CT the daughter of the late Leon and Teofilia (Toczek) Panek and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. Wanda’s polish heritage instilled a passion for polish music and dancing the polka, she also enjoyed reading, go to the beach, trips to the casino, but her greatest treasurer was spending time with her children, grandchildren and was looking forward to meeting her great-granddaughter in November. Besides her beloved husband Lloyd she is also survived by her loving children; Diane Maxellon & her husband Douglas of Enfield and Lloyd A. Jarvis & his wife Joanne of East Windsor, her 6 beloved grandchildren; Michele Vogt & husband, Will of FL, Brian Maxellon, Nicole Maxellon, Ryan Jarvis all of Enfield, Kristie Jarvis and Lloyd Jarvis of East Windsor and a great-granddaughter Samantha Vogt. Wanda was predeceased by two sons; Wayne Jarvis (1999) and Glenn Jarvis (2009). Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Tuesday (October 9, 2012) from 4:00 to 8:00p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (October 10, 2012) with the funeral procession forming at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Adalbert Church 90 Alden Ave. Enfield for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield.
