Yeng Yang

Yeng Yang, 56, of Enfield, beloved husband of 38 years to Mao Lo Yang, entered into eternal peace surrounded by his family Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs. Born March 20, 1949 in Laos the son of the late Va Seng Yang and Vang Xiong Yang, he came to the United States with his family in 1978 and settled in Hartford. He moved with his family to Vernon, then Manchester, finally settling in Enfield. Yeng was employed with Purdy Corporation of Manchester for 14 years and later went on to work for VNCC of Vernon as a visiting nurse. He was a proud and active member of the Hmong Foundation of Connecticut, and Loa Veteran's of America in Windsor.<br>Besides his wife Mao Lo Yang, Yeng is survived by son Thoama Yang and wife Pang, daughter Nkaozer Yang and son Pheng Yang, all of Enfield; daughter May Nou Yang and husband Yia Ly of Springfield, MA, daughter May Lee Yang and husband Chong Pao Lee of Spartenburg, SC; daughter May Houa Hanlon and husband Greg of Windsor and daughter May Choua Vang and husband Sue of Tolland. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. A man with a big heart, Yeng's kindness was not limited to his family, but extended to the members of the Hmong community by whom he was very well respected. He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and friends. Memorial Services will be held Friday, December 16, 2005 until Sunday, December 18, 2005 at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Burial will take place Monday December 19, 2005 at 11:30 am in the Ellington Center Cemetery, Ellington. <br>
