YVETTE (VINCENT) SLAUENWHITE, 84 of Enfield, beloved wife of Howard A. Slauenwhite entered peacefully into Eternal Life on Thurs. May 5, 2005 in Enfield. Yvette was born on April 27, 1921 in Auburn, Maine, the daughter of the late, Napoleon and Liane Vincent, she was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Lewiston, Maine and had resided in Enfield for the past 27 years and in North Syracuse, NY for 5 years before coming to Enfield. Yvette was a devoted & loving wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her husband of 59 years, Howard, Yvette is survived by a son, Richard H. Slauenwhite of Torrington, a daughter and son in law, Judy and Daniel Baccielo of Stratford, her two beloved grandchildren, Theresa Marie & Daniel Joseph Baccielo. She is also survived by two brothers and their wives; Louis J. and Lorraine Vincent, and George and Jean Vincent all of Maine, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Dorita Poliquin.
Funeral services in celebration of Yvette's life will be held on Monday May 9, 2005 at 9:00am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Holy Family Church, Enfield. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Yvette's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday May 8, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in Yvette's memory be made to Holy Family Church 23 Simon Rd. Enfield, CT 06082.
