Jane M. Johns, 82, of New Port Richey, FL and formerly of East Hartford, passed away on May 3, 2014. Jane was born in Hartford, daughter of the late James and Eliza McAlees. To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved husband of 61 years, John D. Johns, her children, Samuel D. Johns, Sharon Riley, Susan Congelosi; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Jane also leaves her sister Margaret McAlees and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit Jane’s family from 6-8 pm Thursday May 15, 2014 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury, CT 06033. The memorial service will be held on Friday May 16, 2014 at 11:00 in the South Congregational Church, 1301 Forbes St. East Hartford, CT 06118. All attendees are asked to go directly to church.
