Lauren Catrina Mazzucchi, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully into the arms of loved ones who have past, Saturday, October 25, 2014. Lauren was born November 28, 1983 in Hartford, the daughter of Timothy Mazzucchi and Sandra (Uriano) Rogers. She grew up and attended schools in Windsor. Known and loved by so many, Lauren had a vibrancy for life that brought people into her light. She was always honest with those she spoke to, never feeling the need to sugar coat her words or thoughts. Even though she’d gone through some rough times over the past couple of years, her inner strength was an inspiration to those who knew her. Lauren loved to travel and was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan. Many people knew Lauren in different ways, but not many knew her greatest treasure, her heart of gold and never ending willingness to help those in need. The warmth of her hugs can and will never be replaced. Our loss is great, but heaven has grown with the addition of a new angel. In addition to her father Timothy and mother Sandra, Lauren leaves her brother, Paul; friend and confidant Leonard; as well as a host of family and friends. Friends and relatives may pay their respects Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 4-8pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave, Glastonbury. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Lauren’s life will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 10am in St. Rose Church, 33 Church St., East Hartford.
