Elizabeth S. Wheeler, 89, formally of Torrington, CT passed away peacefully on June 8th at the Summit in Southington where she was a resident for eleven years. A loving wife and mother she was predeceased by her husband David Wheeler with whom she shared a love of music and the arts for many years. Their house was often filled with good food, conversation and fun. She was the daughter of the late Lisle George Spaulding and Mary Nixon Spaulding and was born on February 19, 1923 in St. Johnsbury, VT. Mrs. Wheeler was an avid reader and letter writer.
