Carmelle Guitard, 87, of South Meriden, CT died on Saturday March 17, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 6, 1930 in Drummond New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Bard) Parent. Carmelle is survived by Clarence, her loving husband of 61 years; her daughters Joyce Saunders and her husband Jack, Lorri Sauer and Valerie Buechele and her partner Mike Borkowski; her grandsons Sean Saunders and Kyle Saunders and his wife Toree; her sisters Alva Martin and her husband Lester and Viola Mazzerolle; her brother Reggie Parent; sisters-in-law Ellie Guitard and Jeanette Garvey and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several of her brothers and sisters and sons-in-law Ron Buechele and Rich Sauer. There will be no calling hours and burial will be private.
