Onelio “Leo” Luciano, 69, husband of Iris C. Ruiz Luciano, died on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico on November 4, 1947, he was the son of the late Eloiso and Ramona (Fraticelli) Luciano. Mr. Luciano was a loving and hard working family man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed. Besides his wife of forty-seven years, he is survived by one son, Omar Luciano and his partner Mishelle Riopedre; one daughter, Sonya Luciano; two grandchildren, Kayla Luciano and Gary Jayden Torres; five sisters, Delma Gonzalez, Carmen Acosta, Ramona “Monin” Rivera, Nereida Luciano and Rosaura Luciano; three brothers, Porfidio Luciano, Ludgesio Luciano and Eloisio Luciano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Miriam Caraballo and one brother, Leonardo Luciano. The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden. Burial will be private.
