Antress "Peggy" Haas, age 94, of Milford, was taken in the hands of the Lord on January 11, 2010 in Milford Hospital. Born on Oct. 30, 1915 in Bridgeport to the late James and Antress Eagan Baker, Peggy was the beloved wife for 53 years to the late Charles Haas. A lifelong Milford resident, she was employed by Newhart Products prior to her retirement. She was a Milford High School graduate of 1933, a member of the Milford Senior Center, West Shore Seniors and of St. Gabriel Church. She is survived by her beloved daughter Carol and her husband James Wilson of Huntington, grandchildren Kimberly Hulme and her husband David of Milford and Suzanne Lynch and her husband Jeffrey of Holliston, MA., step grandchildren James and Nancy Wilson, great grandchildren Ryan, Andrew and Sophia Lynch and Hayden and Daniel Hulme and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Thursday January 14, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery Milford. Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00 am. The family would like to thank Hospice Care & the Doctors and Nurses of Milford Hospital, everyone at Carriage Green of Milford, Deborah O’Connor of Lend-a- Hand and Bishop Wicke Health Care.
