Bernice May Federici., age 82, a longtime resident of Milford, passed away on March 15, 2009, in Milford Health Care. She was born on May 19, 1926 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Ernest and Lucille Mengel Hawkins. Mrs. Federici was an office coordinator for Premier Roofing in West Haven. She was formerly the Vice President of the Seabreeze School PTA and a member of the Woodmont Church of Christ. Survivors include her children David Weaver of Milford, William Weaver of Charleston, RI, John Weaver of Montpelier, VT, James Weaver of Milford, and Cindy Lanese of West Haven, as well as eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A gathering of friends will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. A funeral home prayer service will follow at 12:00 noon. Interment will be private.
