Betty J. Hadden, 87 of Milford, passed away on July 11, 2011 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was born on June 23, 1924 in Meriden, CT., to the late Oscar and Mae Athorne Jensen. Mrs. Hadden was a secretary & supply coordinator for US Motors of Milford for 25 years. She is survived by her son Mark Hadden of Middletown, CT, her sister Ruth Frenza of TX & her caregiver Barbara Brown of Milford. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Stewart, her brothers George Jensen & Malcolm Middleton & her sisters Muriel Sternberg, Shirley Anderson & Emily Anderson. Calling hours will be held at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St. Milford on Thursday July 28th from 6-8 pm, with a short service at 7:00. Interment will be Friday, July 29th at 11 am at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to a charity of choice.
