Calvin “Cal” Clarence Moyer, age 76, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Roberta “Bobbie” Ann Moyer, passed away in his home on Thursday, September 17, 2015. He was born on April 14, 1939 to the late Calvin and Anna Mae Moyer in Hazelton, PA. He proudly served in the US Navy in Hawaii. Before retiring, he was a salesman for Trans-lite Inc. in Milford. An active and devoted member of the community, he was a past Exalted Ruler of the Milford’s Elk’s Club and a proud member of the American Legion Lodge #196. He was a loving and devoted husband and dedicated to his family especially his grandsons. Mr. Moyer is survived by his daughter Cyndy Tummins and her husband Scott of Milford, grandchildren Shane and Trent Tummins, sisters Anne Hilderbrand of Florida, Joann Leipfert of Tennessee and Linda Moyer of Florida. Besides his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his son Scott Moyer, and siblings Dorothea, Lydia Mae, Mary, Joyce and Paul. Calling hours are Monday, September 21, 2015 from 4 to 7pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will be held during the calling hours at 6:30pm along with Elks and American Legion services. Interment will be private.
