Carol Barbara Lally Linane, It is with profound sadness that we mourn the untimely loss of our wonderful mother, wife, sister, grandmother and aunt. Carol Barbara Lally Linane was larger than life itself. Her death leaves a void in the lives of all her family and friends. She was a long time resident of Stratford. Loyal and dear wife of William E. Linane; loving mother to John Davies ( Lisa Davies) and Tammy Davies-Yorke, beloved mother- in -law to Ben Yorke; a loving grandmother to Jessie, Michele, Danielle , Jacquline and Amanda. Loved by her sister Joan Aclair and husband Jean. Sister-in-law to John Linane, James Linane and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Blanche Appleby Lally : her sister Gail Lally Logan. Carol was a woman of incredible character and strength. Her infectious personality and kindness touched all who knew and loved her; she was the bedrock of our family. Friends may call Monday July 14, 2008 at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home 135 Broad St. Milford. From 4-8 pm. Funeral home prayer service will be Tuesday at 10:00 am.
