Cora LaLuna
Cora Marie LaLuna, age 86, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Anthony LaLuna, died Sunday February 2, 2014 at West River Health Care Center. Cora was born October 15, 1927 in Easton, CT, daughter of the late John and Lillie (Moll) Hofmann. After attending local schools, she held various positions within the retail industry. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Parish as well as the Ladies Guild and the Rosary Society. Mrs. LaLuna is survived by her devoted children; Raymond LaLuna of Shelton, Anthony and Diane LaLuna of Orange, Linda and Robert Tschilske of Milford and Kathy and Joseph Lawruszko of Milford. She is also survived by her sister Eleanor Mullins of Bridgeport, 9 Grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. In addition to her loving husband and parents Cora is predeceased by her 6 brothers and sisters and a daughter-in-law Kathleen LaLuna. Calling hours are Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 5th at 10:00 am meeting DIRECTLY at St. Lawrence Church, 207 Main Street, West Haven. Interment will be private.
