Darrick Damian Sommers, age 36, of Milford, passed away suddenly at Milford Hospital on November 30th 2013. Beloved son of Charles E. and Barbara Karwasky Sommers. He was born on August 14, 1977 in New Britian, CT. Darrick was a self-employed management consultant. He was a graduate of Fairfield Prep and Saint Anselm College. In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his aunt Diane Lucke, aunt and uncle James and Karen Stone, godmother Elaine Tatem and her husband Bob, godfather Albert Jekelis and his wife Joy, several cousins, great aunts, great uncles and dear friends. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St. , Milford . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10:30 am at St. Mary Church, Milford . Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
