David Miller
David E. Miller Sr., 88, of Stratford, beloved husband of 65 years to Helen M. Miller (Stone), passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late James and Margaret Miller ( McGeachy ). He was born on September 19, 1922 in Glasgow, Scotland. He proudly served in the Army Air Corp in the 406th fire Squadron during WWII and retired as a Connecticut State Trooper after 28 years of service. He is survived by his children, Claudia Tailor of Norwalk; Leslie Melanson and the late Roland of NJ.;David Miller and his wife Kim of ME.; and Christine Linley and her husband Carl of Easton; two brothers, James Miller of OH.; George Miller of Milford, thirteen loving grandchildren and three great grandsons. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Maxwell Miller. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday July 21, 2011 at 1:00 pm in Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill La., Stratford. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours.
