I was very sorry to hear of David's passing. I grew up in Orange playing baseball on Old Tavern Road and always have the fondest memories of Dave. I still think of him when I am at the ballfields. His smile and good nature have stuck with me through out the years.

My condolences to you, Allan and Allie, for losing David. Through you he has been an inspiration for our community.
Dear Family and Friends of David Poole: Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your dear David. I learned of his passing today through his friend, Lori Cohen, who works with me. It was just by chance she mentioned she was filling out a condolence note for someone she knew who worked at McDonalds on Whalley Avenue. I was sorry to realize it was David she was speaking of. I met David years ago when he approached me at the McDonalds drive-thru line. It won't surprise you to hear this -- he came up to my car, said he had seen me at the drive thru many times, kissed me on the cheek and told me I was beautiful. He made my day that day, and many more days after when we greeted each other as I drove through or went inside for a quick bite to eat. His Ray of Sunshine will be missed by me, and countless others. Sincerely - Renee Rausch
