Bibens-Dean B. Bibens Sr., age 76 of Milford died July 11, 2007 in Middlesex Hospital, Middletown. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio September 12, 1930, son of the late George Robert and Marjorie Ann Trevett Bibens. He is the husband of the late Sally Walker Bibens. Mr. Bibens worked as Sr. Sales Engineer with the ASCO Co., of New Jersey over 35 years. He played semi-pro football with the Longmeadow Shamrocks of Mass., and was drafted by the N.Y.Giants in 1951, in later years he was the head football referee for local and regional leagues and also worked with Milford youth. Mr. Bibens was a member of both St Peter's and St Andrews Episcopal Churches and the Mlfd., Elks Club. He is survived by four sons Dean B. Bibens Jr and William W. Bibens of Milford, Michael W. Bibens of West Haven , Theodore Wahl of Milford, two daughters Barbara A. Price of Windsor and Jane T. Pardee of Tenn., 9 grand children, a brother Melford “Sandy” Bibens of VT. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 21, 2007 at 1:00pm in St Peter's Episcopal Church on River St. Milford. Interment will be private.
