Donald J. Gagner, age 75, of Milford, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2009, in Milford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Joan Wysocki Gagner of 54 years. Mr. Gagner was born in Brooklyn, NY, February 18, 1934, son of the late William and Helen Taylor Gagner. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Gagner worked as a truck driver for William B. Meyers Co., many years until his retirement. He also served as a Auxiliary State Trooper. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted daughter Linda Gagner Flach of Naugatuck, two grandchildren, Peter & Michael Sirico, a brother Thomas Gagner of FL., and two sisters, Gloria Jordan of GA., and Josephine Burns of FL. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Ann Gagner Sirico, three brothers and two sisters. Friends may call Monday August 17, 2009 from 5~8pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10: 30 am in St. Mary’s Church Milford. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery.
