Donald Woodford

Donald R. Woodford, age 50, a lifelong resident of Milford passed away after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born on October 16th, 1969 to Cynthia Norcross Woodford and Richard Woodford. He was a graduate of Joseph A. Foran High School class of ‘87. Don was an electronic genius, he successfully owned and operated World Car Stereo of Fairfield, CT. Don or “Doni” as his friends would call him was a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed racing as well as riding with his son Cristian. Much of his free time was spent on the water boating with his family and friends. Doni is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Cynthia Woodford, along with two children; daughter, Taylor C. Woodford and son, Cristian A. Woodford as well as many other family members. Doni is now rejoicing in heaven with his beloved wife Claudia R. Woodford. An incredible son, father, and friend, Doni will be forever missed. Calling hours will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 1:00pm to 2:45pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A Prayer Service will follow the visitation in the funeral home at 2:45pm. Interment will be private.
