Donna Maria Byrolly Clarke, age 72, of Milford, formerly of Southport, passed away in her home on Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was born on March 12, 1940 to the late Charles and Margaret Byrolly in Waterbury. Devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her loving husband, of 47 years, Kevin B. Clarke, dedicated children Sean Clarke and his wife Megan of Stratford, Suzie Nutbrown and her husband Bruce of Stratham, NH, Mark Clarke and his wife Karen of Fairfield and Sarah Sawitsky and her husband Jonathan of Milford, brother Rev. Bruce Byrolly of Cambridge, MD. Affectionately known as “Grandma Beach” to her ten grandchildren – Jack, Hannah, Carter, Finnian, Brennan, Maggie, Brygid, Charlie, Aidan and Oliver, she enjoyed her time with friends, playing golf and bridge at Brooklawn Country Club and Milford Yacht Club. Mrs. Clarke’s family would like to give special thanks to her nurses Karen Brozdowski and Janet McGrath. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 4 to 7pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 30th at St. Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave, Milford at 11am. Interment will be private.
