Dorothy Hine Overland, age 96, of Milford passed away on February 1, 2008 in Milford Hospital. She was born on April 23, 1911 to the late Frank and Caroline Hine. A life long area resident, she retired from Westport Development where she was employed as a calibrator. In her spare time, she enjoyed being a member of the Eastern Star and the Milford Senior Center. Mrs. Overland is survived by her loving daughter Caroline Hubbell of Florida, 5 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband William Overland and son William Overland Jr. A private graveside service was held in the Old Milford Cemetery. Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford handled the arrangements.
