Dorothy Paul

Dorothy Paul, born May 2, 1913, entered eternal life on June 28, 2016. She has rejoined her beloved daughter, Barbara Thompson Mockler and beloved husband, W. Joseph Paul. She is survived by her son-in-law, Nedd Mockler; five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and many friends. As the oldest daughter of Milford she brought peace and joy to many of its residents for decades. The numerous celebrations over the years showed an appreciation of mutual affection. To her family, her love, strength, wit and devotion as matriarch will be cherished for generations. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 in the First United Church of Christ, Congregational, 18 West Main Street, Milford at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Church’s Memorial Garden. The arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street in Milford.
