Edmond “Edward” V. Young, age 84, of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in Milford Hospital. He was born on October 11, 1927 in Mexico, Maine to the late Joseph and Martha Doucette Young. Before retiring, he was employed as a carpenter for Pete Myers Roofing & Siding. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing pool, puzzles and playing the guitar. Mr. Young is survived by his devoted and loving companion Jeannette Frawley DePiero, daughters Sandra Jean Young Felladore of Vermont and Christine Burnaka, son Paul Becker, brother Donald Young, sister Christine Supple all of Milford, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren a step grandson Zak DePiero. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his daughters Luanne Wood and Donna Marie Young, son Edmond “Eddie” Young Jr, brothers George, Eugene, Richard, Joseph, Kenneth and Ralph Young, sisters Elizabeth Bedard Fortin, Irene Bouquet, Jeannette Marcoux, Eva Ciliberti, Pauline Bower and Mary Smith. All arrangements are private and are being handled by the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford.
