Elizabeth Graham

Elizabeth “Betty” M. Graham, age 84, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009 in Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born on January 5, 1925 in New Haven to the late William and Pauline Scholz Mangan. Before retiring, she was employed by Schick in the Payroll Department for many years. Active in the community, she was a member of the M.N.O. Club, Milford Senior Center and Milford Retired Women Club. Mrs. Graham is survived by her daughters Nancy Graham and her partner George Sturtevant of Newport, NH, Mary Holmes and her husband Gerald of West Haven, Laurie Stoner and her husband Michael of Atlanta, GA and Kelly Graham of Milford, grandchildren Christopher, Paul and Graham Holmes and Elizabeth and Emma Borson and great grandchildren Xander and Phoenix Holmes. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband Gilbert C. Graham. Calling hours are Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 4 to 8pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 16th at St. Agnes Church, Merwin Ave. Milford at 10:30am. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
