Ellen Marie Rinaldi, age 48, formerly of Milford, beloved wife of Michael Rinaldi, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 at her home in Winchester Center, CT. She was born on May 23, 1965, in Milford to the late Earl and Mary (Bolack) Barber. Before retiring, she was employed as an administration assistant, for over 20 years, at Sikorsky Aircraft. A devoted wife, she is survived by her loving husband Michael Rinaldi, brother David Barber of West Haven, sister Cynthia Mazza and Bob of Florida and nephews; David Barber Jr., Daniel Barber both West Haven and Paul Mazza of New York City. She be greatly missed by her beloved dogs, Mugsy and Roxy. Ellen cherished her time with her family, trips to NYC to Broadway shows and was known as talented cook. Ellen will also be remembered for her deep love of the outdoors, wildlife, camping and the ocean. Calling hours are Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford, from 4 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 21st at 11:00 am in St. Agnes Church, Merwin Ave., Milford. Interment to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ellen's memory to: Save A Best Friend, 325 Colebrook Rd., Winsted, CT 06098.
