Elsie Hellwig, 99, of Florida and formerly of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Kurt Hellwig, departed this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 in Florida. Elsie was born on October 29, 1906 in Manchester, CT daughter of the late Horace and Ida Risley. She was devoted and loving homemaker for her family for most of her life. She will be sadly missed by her loving son, Robert K. Hellwig of Shelton. All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Kings Highway Cemetery. The Smith Funeral Home of Milford has been entrusted with arrangements.
