She remained a devoted wife until his death in 1979. During those years, they raised a family of three and owned South Avenue Variety in Stratford. She was retired from Riccio’s Pharmacy in Bridgeport. Lucille was a long standing and faithful member of White Oak Baptist Church in Stratford. In addition, she participated in the Ahrens Program at the Milford Senior Center and was an avid sports fan who loved to watch the Mets, Giants, Rangers and Knicks play.
