Frances Wissner

Frances Marion Bushey Wissner, age 83, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Franklyn Delano Wissner, passed away Thursday April 18, 2013 in her home. She was born May 19, 1929 in Bridgeport, to the late Lawrence W. and Catherine Overland Bushey. She worked as a machinist for New England Controls, until her retirement. Frances served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in Okinawa. She is survived by her children David (Lisa) Starks of West Haven, Victoria (Joseph) Szabo of West Haven, William (Ellen) Wissner of Milford, brothers Harold Bushey of New Hampshire and Lawrence Bushey of SC., nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son, Officer Frank Wissner. A funeral home prayer service will be held Wednesday April 24, 2013 at 11:00am in the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St. Milford. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Interment will be held in Kings Highway Cemetery.
