Landsfield, Frank R. age 90, passed away on August 10, 2013 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford CT. Born August 13, 1922 in Harrison MI, Frank lived his youth in Detroit and raised a family in St. Clair. A graduate of Henry Ford Trade School as a pattern and model maker, Frank practiced the meticulous trade he loved for over 50 years. An Army veteran of WWII, he was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in battles of Okinawa and Saipan. Frank is survived by his son, Robert F Landsfield of Milford CT and his daughter, Gertrude E Lyons of Chicago IL and four grandchildren, Morgan Lyons, Hannah Lyons, Teigan Landsfield and McLean Landsfield. A graveside service with Honor Guard will be held at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy on Saturday, September 14th at 11:00 followed by a family and friends reunion at Trace Pines Golf Club in Rochester Hills. All who knew Frank are welcome to attend.
