Garfield Haley

Garfield Joseph Haley, age 89, of Stratford passed away in his home on Sunday, September 26, 2010. He was born in Maine on September 19, 1921 to the late Harry and Phoebe Haley. Before retirement, he was employed by Bassett Inc. as a machinist. Mr. Haley is survived by his devoted children Gary Haley of Stratford, Jean Goyette of Milford and Linda Kulak and her husband John of Milford, brother Roy of West Haven and sisters Pearl, Fay, Eileen and Bunny and 8 grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife Angelina Galello Haley, son Thomas Haley and brothers and a sister. Calling hours are Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 5 to 7:30 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will be held following calling hours at 7:30 pm. Interment will be private.
