Jeanne Kaiser, age 75, of Milford, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008 in
Connecticut Hospice. She was born on November 8, 1932 in Fairfield to the late
Carl and Mary Kershner Miller. A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of
Christ in Trumbull and volunteered for the Milford Hospital Auxiliary's
Penny Pincher Thrift Shop. She enjoyed cooking, photography, her pets and being
a grandmother. Mrs. Kaiser is survived by her beloved husband, of 47 years,
William Karl Kaiser, loving daughters Jill Kaiser Dion and her husband Daniel of
Milford and Susan Kaiser Schulte and her husband Woody of Bethany, brothers
Bradford Miller of Trumbull and Wilbur Miller
of Oregon, twin sister Jayne Horan
of Arizona, sisters Shirley Smith and Marjorie Miller both of Milford,
grandchildren Emily, Stephen and Heidi Schulte, and Katie, Morgan, Andrew and
Rachel Dion, and great-grandson Christopher, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Carl Miller Jr. and
Harvey Miller and sisters Dorothy Wade and Arlene Ferneding. Calling hours are
Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St.,
Milford from 4 to 8 pm with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Interment will be
private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Orange
Health Care Center, 225 Boston Post Rd., Orange, Ct. 06477.
