Obituary
Jeremy P. Marshall, age 28, of Derby, beloved son of Gene Marshall of West Haven and Susan Lang of Derby, passed away peacefully with his family at his side, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was born in Milford on September 14, 1988. He was employed as a bartender for Buffalo Wild Wings in North Haven. A devoted son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend, he will be remembered for his dedication to them. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Pittsburgh Pirates and enjoyed hockey and golfing. Besides his parents, Jeremy is survived by his sister Jennifer Bishop of Oxford, brother Joseph Marshall of Tamuning, Guam, maternal grandparents Joseph and Shirley Lang of Milford, Uncle and Aunt Gary (Gar-Bear) and Barbara Beauchamp of Milford, Uncle and Aunt Paul and Christine Marshall of Wallingford, Aunt Roseanne Cross, nieces Erin, Emma and Bella Bishop, cousins Elizabeth and Kristina Beauchamp, Paul and Kimberly Marshall and Josh, Michael and Rosenne, his girlfriend Lina Hopkins, stepmother Linda Marshall of West Haven and his cat Rbi. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 3pm to 7pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will be held during the calling hours at 3pm. Interment will be private.
