Katherine M. Davies, age 90, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Richard Warren Davies, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1922 to the late Louis and Catherine Britt Schupbach. Before retirement, Mrs. Davies was a Secretary for the Bridgeport Board of Education. She was a devoted homemaker and was formerly an active member of the PTA and musical theater group at Thomas Hooker School, a Den Mother of Cub Scout Pack 104. Survivors include her sons Kim Davies and his wife Linda of Brookfiled, CT., Gary Davies and his wife Susan of Milford, daughter-in-law Lorriane Davies of Monroe, a sister Marilyn Bednarick of Milford, grandchildren Cort, Drew, Samantha, Sean, Ryan, Bret, and Lisa, great grandchildren Heylee, Sebastian, Alexander, Damian and Ethan. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son Robert W. Davies and grandson Jason Davies. A memorial service will be held Saturday morning March 9, 2013 at 10:00am in the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. Friends may call prior to the service from 9:00am.
