Kathy Lou Helmer Zisk, age 64, passed away at Milford Hospital on Friday, December 5, 2014. She is the daughter of Lucia Williams Helmer of East Haven and the late Gordon Helmer. A professional driver for CT Limo, a former member of the teamster union, and the President of Alberta Jagoe Court Community Center. A devoted mother and grandmother, the “Most Loveable Person”, Kathy is survived by her husband Stephen Zisk of Milford, son Richard Hoyt Jr. and his wife Joanna of Prospect, daughters Lorie Hoyt (Poulin) of Orange, and Jennifer Hoyt (Ceccarelli) and her husband Raymond Ceccarelli of Griswald, sister Jean (Helmer) Candela and her husband Rocco of New Haven, 12 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she is predeceased by her sister Darlene (Helmer) Keller. Calling hours are Monday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Smith and Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad Street Milford. With a prayer service at 5:30 pm. Interment will be private.
