Simeon Lawrence “ Larry” Margolin of Milford, died August 2, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Marlene Bailey Margolin of 39 years. Born in N.Y. on February 14, 1934 son of the late Henry and Nettie Mansdorf Margolin. Mr. Margolin was a retired sales representative in the food industry for many years. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Ilene and her husband David Cheesman of Wallingford. A step son Robert Rome of Milford, a sister Joyce and her husband Martin Gabloff of Livingston, NJ., 9 grandchildren , 3 great grandchildren and two nephews. He is also survived by his beloved son -in-law Kenneth Holmes of Milford . Predeceased by a daughter Barbara Jean Holmes and son Scott Margolin. Calling hours will be held Wednesday August 5, 2009 from 4-8 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St. Milford.
