Leo J. Musante, age 90, of Milford, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 in Milford Hospital. He was born on July 10, 1920 in Bridgeport to the late John and Ines Porcella Musante. He was a graduate of Bassick High School and Bridgeport Engineering Inst. and served proudly in the US Air Force during WWII. Before retiring, he had been employed as an agent for George M. Brown Real Estate and formerly worked at Sikorsky, Avco, and as an inspector for Milford Manufacturing Co. Mr. Musante is survived by his devoted wife, of 64 years, Gladys Moyer Musante, children David Musante and his wife Dee, Philip Musante and his wife Carol all of Milford, Marion Mikruta and her husband Gary of Venice, FL, Dorothy Joseph and her husband Steve of Kissimmee, FL and Matthew Musante and his wife Nancy of Orange, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brothers Thomas Musante of Tinton Falls, NJ and Raymond Musante of Monroe, sisters Marie Boucher of Gainesville, FL, Beatrice Cochran and Enes Saucier both of Fairfield. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Calling hours are Friday, October 15, 2010 from 2 to 5pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will be held during the calling hours at 4pm. Interment will be private.
