MILFORD Louise Calderwood, age 81, beloved wife of the late James A. Calderwood Sr., formerly of Orange, passed away on Friday March 28, 2008 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born on February, 23, 1927. Daughter of the late Sophia and John Jankowski. She retired from Schick’s in Milford. She is survived by her children; James (Lynda) Calderwood of Dallas, TX, Kevin and Nadine Calderwood, both of Milford, Clifford (Peggy) Calderwood of Florida, Susan (George) DeAngelo of Orange, a brother, Joseph (Helen) Jenks of Ansonia. grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her dear friend Jennie Garafalo. She was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Mersey and Lottie Kuziel. Friends may call Monday March 31, 2008 from 4~8 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street “On the Green” Milford. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am directly at Orange Center Cemetery. Family has requested donations in her memory be made to your local Animal Shelter.
