Margery Juul

Margery J. Juul, of Milford, died June 16, 2010 in Milford Hospital. She was born March 5, 1923 in Sharon, VT to Baxter and Blanche Roberts. Survived to celebrate her life are her children Melody (Glenn) Lloyd, Rolla MO; Marilyn (Earl) Steiner, Northford, CT; Thomas (Tuyen) Juul, Milford, CT along with 8 grandchildren: Keri Lloyd, Kristy (Michael) Clayburn, Glenn (Kris) Lloyd, Katie Lloyd, Alicia (Bill DiChello) Steiner, Missy (Ryan) Parniawski, Matthew and Maegan Juul, 9 great grandchildren and her beloved cat, Danny. She is also remembered and loved by many nieces & nephews throughout the country. Margery is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Reynold B. Juul, daughter, Alicia Mary, her parents and 2 sisters (Evelyn & Marion) and 4 brothers (Elijhu, Phil, Ralph and Richard). Unique for her era, Margery piloted airplanes and became a product designer/draftsman after taking courses at Dartmouth during WWII. She worked for several local companies in that capacity until her retirement in 1985. She went on to fill her life with volunteer service at the Woodmont Library, Milford Hospital and local political campaigns. She also spent many hours recording books for the blind. Margery will be remembered and cherished at a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to local humane societies or the American Cancer Society.
