Maria O. Brown, age 85, of Milford passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 in Milford Hospital. She was born on July 9, 1932 in Lisbon, Portugal to the late Antonio and Elvira Silva Dias. Before retiring, she was employed as a nurse’s aide for Dinan Memorial Center. The devoted wife, of 47 years, of Daniel S. Brown, she is also survived by a sister in Portugal, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Victor Dias, Sr., and one sister, Maria Helena Mendonca. Calling hours are Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will take place during the visitation at 5pm. Interment will be private.
